Terms of Service
Last updated July 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of Basestash (the “Service”), an Airtable backup service available at basestash.net. The Service is operated by Andreas Karampatsos, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as Basestash (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Basestash takes scheduled and on-demand backups of Airtable bases you connect, stores them, and lets you browse, export, and restore that data. The Service depends on the Airtable API; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Airtable. Features vary by plan as described on the pricing page.
2. Your account
You must provide a valid email address and keep your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and use the Service only in ways that comply with applicable law and with Airtable’s own terms of service.
3. Your data
The Airtable data we back up for you remains yours. You grant us the limited right to store, process, and display it solely to provide the Service to you. Airtable personal access tokens you provide are stored encrypted and are used only to read your bases for backup and, when you explicitly request a restore, to write records back. You are responsible for having the right to back up the bases you connect.
4. Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. New accounts get a 14-day free trial; no card is required for the trial. You can cancel anytime from the in-app billing portal, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
5. Data retention
Snapshots are retained for the window your plan defines and are then deleted. Pausing, downgrading, or canceling never deletes existing snapshots before their retention window expires. If your account is closed, we delete your backup data within 30 days of closure.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to store unlawful content, attempt to access other tenants’ data, probe or disrupt the Service, resell it without our agreement, or exceed reasonable use in a way that degrades it for others. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules, notifying you where practical.
7. Availability and disclaimers
We aim for the Service to be reliable, but it is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Backups depend on the availability and correctness of the Airtable API. Basestash is a safety net, not a substitute for Airtable itself, and we do not guarantee that any particular change will have been captured before it was lost. You should verify that backups of critical data exist and are restorable.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may terminate or suspend the Service for material breach of these terms, or discontinue the Service entirely with at least 30 days’ notice, in which case we will give you the opportunity to export your data.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: support@basestash.net.
